Step 6. Lift the LCD panel a bit and disconnect the cable. Then, remove the LCD panel.

Go to https://support.lenovo.com/partslookup to look up the Lenovo part numbers of the following

replacement part:

LCD panel

Remove the EDP cable

Make sure the following FRUs (CRUs) have been removed.

“Remove the lower case” on page 30

“Remove the upper case assembly” on page 47

“Remove the stripe cover” on page 49

“Remove the LCD panel” on page 50

Step 1. Open the latch and remove the EDP cable from the LCD panel.
