7.1 Maintenance intervals
ƒ The mechanical power transmission system is free of maintenance.
ƒ Shaft seals and roller bearings:
– The service life depends on the operating conditions.
– Replace seals in case of leakage to avoid consequential damage.
ƒ Lubricants are subject to natural aging and must be replaced at regular intervals:
– The type of lubricant is indicated on the nameplate. If not indicated, please see
"List of lubricants" (Tab. 2).
– Only use similar lubricants when changing the lubricant.
– For maintenance intervals: see Tab. 2 "List of lubricants".
