4.3 Compressed air connection
CAUTION
Valve in open position
Risk of injury when connecting compressed air to the valve.
Connect compressed air only when:
– valve is installed in the vacuum system
– moving parts cannot be touched
Use clean, dry or slightly oiled air only.
Connection see chapter «1.4 Technical data».
4.4 Electrical connection
DANGER
Electric shock
Parts being under voltage will result in serious injury or death.
Do not touch parts being under voltage.
NOTICE
Wrong voltage
Electrical components may get damaged.
Make sure that the mains voltage is in conformity with the voltage specified on
the pilot valve and on the position indicator; see chapter «1.4 Technical data».
1. Read part number from the identification plate; also see chapter «1.2 Identification of
product».
2. With the help of chapter «1.3 Validity of the user manual» check whether it is a valve
with or without pilot valve.
3. Connect electrical power.
• Valve without pilot valve; see «Figure 4-1» on page 22.
• Valve with pilot valve; see «Figure 4-2» on page 22.
