Note down the service due date displayed
in the multifunction display before discon-
necting the battery.

Subtract the battery disconnection periods
from the service date shown on the display
after reconnecting the battery.

ASSYST PLUSserviceinterval display after
the necessary service work has beencarried
out.
You can obtain further information,e.g.
regarding servicework,from aMercedes-
BenzService Centre or directly from
Mercedes-Benz.

If theASSYST PLUSserviceinterval indi-
cator has beeninadvertently reset, this set-
ting can be corrected at aMercedes-Benz
Service Centre.
Have the servicework carried out as descri-
bed in the Service Booklet. There may oth-
erwise be increased wear, resulting in dam-
age to the vehicle or to the major assem-
blies.

retaining the quality in the long term.
Use careproducts and cleaning agentsrec-
ommended and approved by Mercedes-Benz.

For cleaningyour vehicle, do not use any
of the following:

Do not scrub.
Do not touch the surfacesorprotective
films with hard objects,e.g. aring or ice
scraper.You couldotherwise scratch or
damage the surfaces and protective film.

Environmental note
Dispose of empty packaging and cleaning
cloths in an environmentally responsible man-
ner.

Do not park up your vehicle for alonger
period immediately after cleaningit, espe-
cially not after cleaning the wheelrims with
wheel rim cleaningagent. Wheel rim clean-
ing agentscan increase corrosionofbrake
discs and brake pads.Generally speaking,
you should not park the vehicle after clean-
ing until you have run it at regularoperating
temperature.
