This 40 000 W / V analog multimeter with its wide range of measurement
capabilities is perfectly adapted to the needs of electrical and electronic
engineer. A single combined range and function rotary switch will make this
instrument easy to use.
It has a good insulation (3 kV) and has no metallic protruding parts. Of rugged
construction it is handy to carry. As well as rubber shock absorber surround
or a carrying case many accessories are available on request. The instrument
is fitted with a folding stand.

1.2 PARTICULARITIES
This multimeter will support an accidental short overload of 240 V AC on all
ranges without other damage than blown fuses. The protection of current
ranges ( < 15 mA) and 50 - 150 mV DC relies on non linear components. All
volts ranges are protectec against mains accidental ocerloads through the
use of generously rated components. The protection of current ranges
(> 15 mA) is obtained through fuses. One of them has a high current cutting-
off power 10 A/80 kA in the common.
Fuses and batteries are easily accessible at the back of the case. A linear
ohmmeter gives constant precision and resolution at low resistance i. e. :
ranges 0 - 50 W and 0 - 500 W .
