Method for testing electric heating tube:
Adjust the multimeter to Resistance, test the resistance between two poles of electric heating tube,
electric heating tube of different specifications shall have different resistances, if the test result is zero or
too high, it means that there’s defect. Table below is the corresponding resistance according to the
electric heating tube power range.
5.3 Machine refrigerating failure
Since the water purifier cooling defect is mainly shown as: compressor works but water purifier doesn’t cool
water, compressor doesn’t start and water purifier doesn’t cool water.
1. Before repair, check the circuit of the water purifier and assure that the electric control part works
normally, please see Circuit Repair of Water purifier for detailed methods.
2. The repairing technicians must hold welder employment certificate.
