Cleaning and care

Cleaning by hand or in the
dishwasher
The brew unit is not dishwasher-
safe.
Clean the brew unit by hand only
under warm running water. Do not
use washing-up liquid or any other
cleaning agent.
The following must be cleaned by hand
only:
Central spout stainless steel cover
Brew unit
Coffee bean container and lid
Risk of damage as a result of
excessively high dishwasher
temperatures.
Components may be rendered
unusuable (e.g. deformed) if washed
in a dishwasher at a temperature of
more than 55°C.
For dishwasher-safe parts, the
maximum temperature of the
dishwashing programme selected
must not exceed 55°C.
Contact with natural dyes such as
those found in carrots, tomatoes and
ketchup may discolour the plastic
parts in the dishwasher. This
discolouration does not affect the
stability of the parts.
The following components are
dishwasher safe:
Drip tray with lid and waste container
Drip tray cover
Central spout (without stainless steel
cover)
Milk flask with lid
Cup sensor
Drip catcher
Maintenance container
Water container
