Before using for the first time

Heating up the appliance
Take all accessories out of the oven
compartment if applicable.
To remove the grease from the ring
heating element, heat the steam oven
up at 200°C using the Fan Plus
function for 30minutes.
Proceed as described in “Operation”.
Risk of injury caused by hot
surfaces.
The steam oven gets hot during
operation. You could burn yourself
on the heating elements, oven
compartment or shelf runners.
Use oven gloves when working in the
hot oven compartment.
The heating element will give off a
slight smell when it is heated up for
the first time. The smell and any
vapours given off will dissipate after a
while and do not indicate a faulty
connection or appliance.
It is important to ensure that the
kitchen is well ventilated during this
operation.
