Lowering the top heat/grill
element
If the oven interior roof is badly soiled,
the top heat/grill element can be
lowered to make cleaning easier.

Danger of burning.
Make sure the oven heating
elements are switched off and cool.
^ To lower the top heat/grill element,
the nut needs to be unscrewed.
Do not use force to lower it as this
can cause it to break.
^ Carefully lower the top heat/grill
element.
^ Clean the roof of the oven regularly
with a damp cloth or a dishwashing
sponge.
^ After cleaning, raise the top heat/grill
element gently back up again. Refit
the nut and tighten to secure the
element back in position.
