The heating of the iron switches off
automatically if the iron is not moved for
longer than 3minutes. The message
Iron switched off appears in the display
to indicate that the heating has
switched off. After a certain time, steam
is no longer available. The message
Release stm. button appears in the
display when the steam button is
locked. In this case, unlock the

Risk of burning or scalding due
to the hot soleplate.
The soleplate is still hot immediately
after the heating has been switched
off.
Avoid direct contact.
As soon as the iron is moved, or the

available again depends on the length
of time the heating was switched off.

system unattended with the iron or

the steam ironing system unatten-
