Only the “LEVEL INPUT” is acceptable for external input

“Level input (Factory default)” or “Pulse input” is selected by the function for “External input” of the wired remote
controller, operation status will be changed as follows.

When card key switch is ON (CnT-6 or CnTA ON: Operation permission), start/stop operation of the unit
from the wired remote controller becomes available.

When card key switch is OFF (CnT-6 or CnTA OFF: Operation prohibition), the unit stops operation in
conjunction with OFF signal, and start/stop operation of the unit from the wired remote controller becomes
not available.
*(2) In case that “Operation permission/prohibition mode” setting is “Valid” and “External input” setting is “Pulse
input (Local setting)”;

When card key switch is ON (Operation permission), the unit starts operation in conjunction with ON signal.
and also start/stop operation of the unit from the wired remote controller becomes available.

When card key switch is OFF (Operation prohibition), the unit stops operation in conjunction with OFF signal, and
start/stop operation of the unit from the wired remote controller becomes not available.
(3) This function is invalid only at “Center mode” setting done by central controller.
(22) Selection of cooling/heating external input function
(i) When “External input 1 setting: Cooling/heating” is set for the indoor unit function from remote controller, the cooling or
heating is selected with CnT-6 or CnTA.
(ii) When the External input 1 method selection: Level input is set for the indoor unit function:

CnT-6orCnTA:OPEN→Coolingoperationmode
・
CnT-6orCnTA:CLOSE→Heatingoperationmode
(iii) When the External input 1 method selection: Pulse input is set for the indoor unit function:
If the external input is changed OPEN → CLOSE, operation modes are inverted (Cooling → Heating or Heating →
Cooling).
(iv) If the cooling/heating selection signal is given by the external input, the operation mode is transmitted to the remote
controller.
