7.1 Handset tones
7.1.1 Ring volume
You can adjust the ringer volume and set dierent volume levels. Choose from
5 volume levels or O.
1. Press M, scroll d to Personal set.
2. Press M. The display shows Handset tone .
3. Press M. The display shows Ring volume .
4. Press M, scroll i or d to select the volume (1 -5 or O) .
5. Press M to confirm or u to return to the previous menu.
7.1.2 Ring tones
You can set dierent ringer melodies for your external calls. Choose from 10
dierent ringer melodies.
You will hear a sample ring as you scroll to each ring melody.
1. Press M, scroll d to Personal set.
2. Press M. The display shows Handset tone .
3. Press M. Scroll d to Ring tones .
4. Press M, scroll i or d to select the melody (1 -10) .
5. Press M to confirm or u to return to the previous menu.
7.1.3 Key tones on/o
When you press a button on the handset keypad, you will hear a beep. You can
switch these beeps on or o.
1. Press M, scroll d to Personal set.
2. Press M. The display shows Handset tone .
3. Press M. Scroll d to Key tone .
4. Press M, i or d to select On or O and press M to confirm.
7.1.4 Docking tone on /o
When you replace the handset in the base you will hear a double beep. You
can switch this beep on or o.
1. Press M, scroll d to Personal set.
2. Press M. The display shows Handset tone .
3. Press M. Scroll d to Docking tone .
4. Press M, i or d to select On or O and press M to confirm.
