Using your Answering Machine
10.3 Delete all messages
1. Press M, scroll i or d to Answ. machine and press M.
2. Scroll d to Delete all and press M.
3. Display shows Confirm? , press M.
10.4 Announcement
This is the message your callers hear on the answer machine. There are two
pre-recorded outgoing messages, or you can record your own.
10.4.1 Record also
The pre-set Record also announcement, that allows your caller to leave a
message, is ‘Hello, your call cannot be taken at this moment, so please leave
your message after the tone’.
10.4.2 Answer only
The caller can listen to your announcement but cannot leave a message. The
pre-recorded message is ‘Hello, your call cannot be taken at this moment, and
you cannot leave a message, so please call later.’
10.4.3 Record, play or delete your own announcement
1. Press M, scroll d to Answ. machine and press M.
2. Scroll d to Announcment and press M.
3. Press i or d to select either Answer only or Record also and press M.
Scroll i or d to select either Play , Record or Use default and press M.
If you select Play the current announcement will play back.
If you select Record once you hear the beep speak your announcement into the
handset, to end recording press M. The announcement will play back.
If you selected Use default the display shows Confirm? , press M to confirm.
10.4.4 Select the announcement
Press M, scroll d to Answ. machine and press M.
Scroll d to Voice answer and press M.
Press i or d to select either Answer only or Record also and press M to confirm.
