SiS OnChip IDE Device
Press <Enter> and the following sub-menu appears:
Internal PCI/IDE
The field specifies the internal primary and secondary PCI/IDE controllers.
Settings: [Disabled], [Primary], [Secondary], [Both].
IDE Primary/Secondary Master/Slave PIO
The four IDE PIO (Programmed Input/Output) fields let you set a PIO mode (0-4)
for each of the four IDE devices that the onboard IDE interface supports. Modes
0 through 4 provide successively increased performance. In [Auto] mode, the
system automatically determines the best mode for each device. The settings
are: [Auto], [Mode 0], [Mode 1], [Mode 2], [Mode 3], [Mode 4].
Primary/Secondary Master/Slave Ultra DMA
Ultra DMA 33/66/100/133 implementation is possible only if your IDE hard drive
supports it and the operating environment includes a DMA driver (Windows ME,
XP or a third-party IDE bus master driver). If your hard drive and your system
software both support Ultra DMA/33, Ultra DMA/66, Ultra DMA/100 and Ultra
DMA/133, select Auto to enable BIOS support. Settings: [Auto], [Disabled].
IDE DMA transfer access
Setting to [Enabled] will open DMA bus master and execute DMA action in DOS,
which will make the data transferring faster. Settings: [Disabled], [Enabled].
