Step 3 Focus and Shoot
1 Press the shutter-release button halfway.
Press halfway (A 13) to focus. When the subject is in
focus, the focus area glows green.
When digital zoom is used, the focus
area is not displayed and the camera
focuses at the center of the frame.
When the subject is in focus, the focus
indicator glows green.
The shutter speed and aperture are
displayed when the shutter-release button is pressed halfway.
Focus and exposure remain locked while the shutter release button is pressed
halfway.
When the camera is unable to focus, the focus area, or focus indicator, blinks red.
Change the composition and press the shutter-release button halfway again.
2 Press the shutter-release button the rest of
the way down.
The image is saved to the memory card or internal
memory.
