Adjusting the Torque of the Coarse Focus Knob
The tension (torque) of the coarse focus knob
rotation can be adjusted. To increase the
tension, turn the coarse focus knob torque
adjustment ring counterclockwise. The torque
adjustment ring is located at the back of the
coarse focus knob. To decrease the tension,
turn the ring clockwise. Do not decrease the
tension too much. If it is too loose, the stage
will fall under its own weight.
Cord Hangers
Push the cord hangers (optional) into the holes
on the rear of the microscope. The hangers
can be used for winding the power cord
around when the microscope is not in use.
To remove the hangers, use a screwdriver.
Loosens.
Tightens.
