5.6 Setup of the
“SYSTEM SETUP”
Menu
This item is used in detailed system-related setups of
this instrument.
To display the “SYSTEM SETUP” menu
1
Press the “MENU” button to initiate the menu
display.

Press “v” or “V” to select “PRINTER SETUP,”
and press the “ENTER” button.

Press “b” or “B” to display the “SYSTEM
SETUP” menu (see Figure 5.6).

Setting “CLOCK ADJUSTMENT”
This item is used to set the clock.

Press “v” or “V” to select “CLOCK
ADJUSTMENT,” and press the “ENTER” button.

Press “b” or “B” to select the item you want to set
from among “Y,” “M,” “D,” “H,” “M” or “S.”

Press “v” or “V” to set the clock for the desired
time, and press the “ENTER” button.
Setting “LCD-CNTR.”
This item is used to adjust the contrast of the background
of the LCD panel.

Press “v” or “V” to select “LCD-CNTR.,” and
press the “ENTER” button.

Press “v” or “V” to select between “0” and “14,”
and press the “ENTER” button. Increasing the
setting value darkens the background of the LCD
panel.
Setting “BAUDRATE”
This item is used to set the RS-232C communication
rate. “4800” is selected when this instrument is
connected to the video system center or the endoscopic
ultrasound center.

Press “v” or “V” to select “BAUDRATE,” and
press the “ENTER” button.

Press “v” or “V” to select from among “1200,”
“2400,” “4800” or “9600,” and press the “ENTER”
button. Usually select “4800.”
Setting “BEEP”
This item is used to set whether the buzzer beep is
generated when a front panel button is pressed. The
buzzer beep for caution always sounds and cannot
change the setup.

Press “v” or “V” to select “BEEP,” and press the
“ENTER” button.

Press “v” or “V” to select either “OFF” or “ON,”
and press the “ENTER” button.
Setting “IRE”
This item is used to set the contrast of the input video
signal.

Press “v” or “V” to select “IRE,” and press the
“ENTER” button.

Press “v” or “V” to select from among “100,”
“110,” “120” or “130,” and press the “ENTER”
button.
OFF : Buzzer beep is not generated.
ON : Buzzer beep is generated.
100 : Prints the input image slightly brightly.
110 : Prints the input image at the standard
brightness.
120 : Prints the input image slightly darkly.
130 : Prints the input image darkly.
