5.9 Setup of the “INPUT SETUP” Menu

optimum color balance.
12 Repeat steps 2 and 5 to set the setting values of
“BAL X” and “BAL Y” of the image selected in
step 11. In doing this, coarse and fine adjustments
are possible by varying the setting value of “BAL
STEP.”
5.9 Setup of the “INPUT
SETUP” Menu
This menu is used to set up the input signal.
When the setup of the “INPUT SEL,” “SD/HD SEL,”
“SD FORMAT,” or “SD SYNC(IN)” is changed, the
display switching takes several seconds. You cannot
capture during the switch.
To display the “INPUT SETUP” menu
1 Press the “MENU” button to initiate the menu
display.
2 Press “v” or “V” to select “SIGNAL SETUP,” and
press the “ENTER” button.
3 Press “b” or “B” to display the “INPUT SETUP”
menu (see Figure 5.10).

Setting “INPUT SEL”
This item is used to select the format of the video signal
input to this instrument.
1 Press “v” or “V” to select “INPUT SEL,” and press
the “ENTER” button.
2 Press “v” or “V” to select from among “VIDEO,”
“S-VIDEO,” “COMPONENT” and “SDI,” and
press the “ENTER” button.
Setting “SD/HD SEL”
This item is used to select either the SDTV or the HDTV
signal as the input video signal.
