General instructions
cgm.3 system: medium voltage SF
6
gas-insulated
cubicles up to 38 kV according to IEEE and CSA standards
Installation
4.4. Fastening to the floor
Before assembling the cubicles, the oor must be carefully
leveled to prevent any deformation which may make it
dicult to connect the cubicles to one another.
The cubicles can be fastened to the oor with or without a
prole.
Figure 4.10. Fastening cubicles on prole
4.4.1. Floor fastening on a profile
If the oor of the Transformer Substation is not suciently
uniform, it is advisable to install the medium voltage cubicle
assembly on an auxiliary prole, to make it easier to connect
them. This prole, which can be supplied to order, must be
anchored to the oor using expansion screws.
4.4.2. Fastening to the floor by anchoring
If the oor of the installation is even enough, it is advisable
to install the medium voltage cubicle assembly directly
anchored to the oor.
The sequence for anchoring the cubicles to the oor is as
follows:
1. Operate the cubicles switch to the grounding position.ç
See section “5. Recommended sequence of operations”
of this general instructions document.
By default, the cubicles are supplied with the switch in
grounding position.
