Using the appliance
Filling the water reservoir
1 Openthewaterreservoirlidandllthewaterreservoirwithcold
water, with the required amount of water.
There are indications for 2 to 12 cups (275ml to 1650ml) on the water
level window and on the jug. You can use these indications to determine
how much water to put in the water reservoir. Keep in mind that amount
of brewed coffee will be slightly less, since ground coffee absorbs water.
Tip: Use the jug to ll the water reservoir with the required amount of water.
Note: Do not ll the water reservoir beyond the 12-cup indication, otherwise
water spills from the opening at the back.
2 Close the jug lid and place the jug on the hotplate.
Make sure that the lid is properly assembled onto the jug, otherwise
the jug may not pour properly.
