• Taking a Picture
1. Turn on the camera and set the camera to Capture mode.
2. Frame your subject using the LCD screen or viewnder.
3. Press the Shutter button half way and align the focus mark on the
subject you want to capture. When the focus is locked, the focus
mark will turn green and two beep sounds are heard.
IMPORTANT!
When the red focus mark appears on the LCD screen (when it is on), there is
difculty in focusing the subject. Release the Shutter button, recompose the
scene and press the Shutter button halfway to reset the focus.
4. Press Shutter button completely down
to take a picture, holding the camera
steady.
5. If the Quick View feature is activated, the
picture just taken will be shown on the
LCD screen (if it is on) for a short while.
Review button
The Operation LED will ash which indicates the camera is processing
the picture. You can take the next picture only when the Operation LED
stops ashing. You can review the picture you just took by pressing the
Review button, press it again to return to the Capture mode.
• Taking a Picture with the LCD Screen off
You can also take a picture with the LCD screen off. The procedure is the
same as above but frame your subject using the viewnder instead.
IMPORTANT!
When you press the Shutter button halfway, two beep sounds will be heard,
indicating the focus is locked on the subject. The Operation LED turns to red
when there is difculty in focusing the subject. Release the Shutter button,
recompose the scene and press the Shutter button halfway to reset the
focus.
