1. SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS AND EMC
All safety instructions in this document must be read, understood, and followed.
1-1. Transportation and Storage
Please ship the UPS system only in its original packaging to protect against shock and damage.
The UPS should be stored in a room where the temperature is well regulated. The ambient
temperature should not exceed 40°C.
1-2. Preparation
Condensation can form if the UPS system is immediately moved from a cold environment to a
cold environment
warm. The UPS system must be completely dry before installation. Wait at least two hours
for the UPS system to adapt to the environment.
Do not install the UPS system near water or in humid environments.
Do not install the UPS system in direct sunlight or near
heat source .
Do not block the ventilation holes in the UPS house.
1-3. Installation
Do not connect equipment or devices that would overload the UPS (e.g.
large motor type equipment) to the UPS output terminal.
Place the cable in such a way that no one can step on or
stumble.
Do not block the air vents in the UPS home. Ensure proper spacing of ventilation units.
The UPS is equipped with a grounding terminal, at the final installation stage,
connect the grounding/earthing cable to an external UPS battery cabinet or
suitable grounding terminals.
UPSs can only be installed by qualified maintenance personnel.
Appropriate disconnection devices such as short circuit backup protection shall be
included during installation.
Integral emergency disconnect switch that prevents additional load from the UPS in
Any operating mode must be applied during installation.
Secure grounding/earthing cables before connecting to cable terminals
any voltage.
Installation and Wiring must be in accordance with laws and regulations
local electricity.
