Folder Renaming
By default the folders on your device are named FOLDER1 - FOLDER10. These
folders can be renamed using the DVM software supplied with your device. To do
so, simply launch DVM while your device is connected to the computer. A list of
folders and files on the device will appear on the left side of the screen. Double
click any folder to enable renaming; press enter or click anywhere on the screen
to confirm your edits. The newly renamed folders will appear on your recorder
the next time you disconnect it from the computer and power it on.
If you change the folder name using Windows Explorer or Finder, the
folder will no longer be recognized by the device. It is best to use
only the DVM software for renaming folders.
