Parallel remote connection

optocoupler
The
parallel
remote
port
allows remote
control of
the
play, pause,
last cue and
faderstart functions. lt is
also
possible
to indicate
the
operating
states
(modes)
ON AIR and READY.
All
inputs
and
outputs are electrically isolated via optocouplers.

Digital/analog conversion
The
clock
(CLAB)
and
select
(WSAB)
signals
reach the two
bitstream conveders
(lC
12,lC13)
in
parallel.
lC15
inverts the data
of
the llS bus
(DAAB)
for
one converter.
lC14
(ADOC)
is also connected to the lS bus and is muted
with
the DMUTE signal,
whereas the two
bitstream conveders
are
muted with the ACUEMUTE signal.
The ATSB signal activates the 12 dB output signal attenuation
for
all
three chips
(1C12...1C14).
The ADOC
(1C14)
produces
the XSYS
clock
(1
1.2896 MHz) for the
two bitstream converters and
the
demodulator
(lC8
on
the
servo
board).
Op-Amps
lC10'1
and
lC 201
add
the
differential AF output signals
of
the bitstream converters. The
output signals of
the
op-amps
(approx.
1.9 Veff) are taken to the
PHONO sockets and the line
amplifier board.
For delay and click-free
muting
of the PHONO
outputs,
two
transistors each are
connected
in
cascade.
The
muting
is
initiated
either by the microprocessor or if V PYRAMIDE
drops below 15 V.

Reset
circuit
With the reset circuit
lC11
a
defined reset can be initiated.
lC11
compares
the +5 V
STBY supply voltage with a reference
voltage
(threshold
value).
lf after
power
on
of the CD
player
the
+5
V
STBY supply voltage
exceeds
this reference voltage,
lC11
generates
a reset
pulse
with
a duration of 13 ms.
