Chapter 1 Overview
Test Preparations
Before performing the test, make the following preparations.
1) Warm up the RSA3000 spectrum analyzer for at least 30 minutes.
2) Make sure that the instrument is within the calibration period (18 months) and perform
self-calibration on the spectrum analyzer. Press System → Alignment → Align Now, and the
spectrum analyzer performs self-calibration immediately using internal calibration source.
3) The test devices required should fulfill the requirements of the "Specification" column as shown
in Table 1-1. You can also use the recommended models in the following table to make
measurement.
