Standard Limited Product Warranty (“Limited Warranty”)
RISCOLtd.(“RISCOʺ)guaranteeRISCO’sh ardwareproducts(“Products”)tobefreefromdefect s
inmaterialsandworkmanshipwhenusedandstoredundernormalconditionsandinaccordance
withtheinstructionsforusesuppliedbyRISCO,for a periodof(i) 24 months fromthedateof
deliveryoftheProduct(the“WarrantyPeriod”).ThisLimitedWarrantycoverstheProductonly
within the country where the Product was originally purchased and only covers Products
purchasedasnew.
Contact with customers only.ThisLimited Warrantyissolelyforthebenefitofcustomerswho
purchasedtheProductsdirectlyfromRISCOorfromanauthorize ddistribut orofRISCO.RISCO
doesnotwarranttheProducttoconsumersandnothinginthisWarrantyobligatesRISCOtoaccept
Product returns directly from end users who purchased the Products for their own use from
RISCO’scustomerorfromanyinstallerofRISCO,orotherwiseprovidewarrantyorotherservices
toanysuchendus e rdirectly.RISCO’sauthorize ddistributororinstallershallhandleallinteractions
withits endusersin connection withthisLimitedWarranty. RISCO’sauthorizeddistributoror
installershallmakenowarranties,repr esentation s,guaranteesorstatementstoitsendusersorother
thirdpartiesthatsuggestthatRISCOhasanywarrantyorserviceobligationto,oranycontractual
privywith,an y recipientofaProduct.
Remedies.Intheeventthatamaterialdefect inaProduct is discovered and reportedtoRISCO
duringtheWarrantyPeriod,RISCOshall acceptreturnofthedefectiveProductinaccordancewith
thebelowRMAprocedureand,atitsoption,either(i)repairorhaverepairedthedefectiveProduct,
or(ii)provideareplacementproducttothe customer.
Return Material Authorization. In the event that you need to return your Product for repair or
replacemen t,RISCOwillprovideyouwithaReturnMerchandiseAuthorization Number(RMA#)as
well as return instructions. Do not return your Product without prior approvalfrom RISCO. Any
Productreturnedwithout avalid,unique RMA#willbe refusedandreturn ed to thesender at the
sender’sexpense.There tu rnedProductmustbe accomp aniedwithadetaileddescriptionof thedefect
discovered(“DefectDescription”)andmustotherwisefollowRISCO’sthen‐currentRMAprocedure
publishedinRISCO’swebsiteatwww.riscogroup.cominconnectionwithanysuchreturn.IfRISCO
determines in its reasonable discretion that any Product returned by customer conforms to the
applicablewarranty(“Non‐DefectivePr oduct”),RISCOwillnotifythecustomerofsuchdetermination
andwillreturntheapplicableProducttocustomeratcustomer’sexpense.Inaddition,RISCOmay
proposeandassess cus tomerachargefortestingandexaminationofNon‐Defec tiveProduct.
EntireLiability.TherepairorreplacementofProductsinaccordancewiththisLimitedWarranty
shallbeRISCO’sentireliabilityandcustomer’ssoleandexclusiveremedyincaseamaterialdefect
inaProductisdiscoveredandreported asrequiredherein.RISCO’sobligationandthisLimited
WarrantyarecontingentuponthefullpaymentbycustomerforsuchProductanduponaproven
weeklytestingandexaminationof theProductfunctionality.
Limitations. This Limited Warranty is the only warranty made by RISCO with respect to the
Products.Thewarrantyisnottran sf e rab le toanythirdparty.Tothemaximumextentpermit tedby
applicablelaw,thisLi mitedWarrantyshallnotapplyandwi llbevoidif:(i)theconditionssetforth
abovearenotmet(including,butnotlimitedto,fullpaymentbycustomerfortheProductanda
provenweeklytestingand examinationoftheProductfunctionality);(i i) iftheProductsoranypart
orcomponentthereof:(a)havebeensubjectedtoimproperoperati onorinstallation;(b)havebeen
subjecttoneglect,abuse,willfuldamage,abnormalworkingconditions,failuretofollowRISCO’s
instructions (whether oral or in writing); (c) have been misused , altered, modified or repaired
withoutRISCO’swrittenapprovalorcombinedwith,orinstalledonproducts,orequipmentofthe
customerorofanythirdparty;(d)havebeendamagedbyanyfactorbeyondRISCO’sreasonable
controlsuchas,butnotlimitedto,powerfailure,electricpowersurges,orunsuitablethirdparty
componentsandtheinteractionofsoftwaretherewithor(e)anyfailureordelayintheperformance
ofthe Productattributable toany means ofcommunicationprovidedbyanythirdparty service
