Synchronize accounts
You can synchronize your calendar, contacts, and other types of accounts.
1.
From Settings, tap Cloud and accounts > Accounts> [Account type].
2. Tap an account to view the sync settings for that account.
3. Tap individual data items to sync.
4.
Tap More options > Sync now to synchronize the account.
Remove an account
You can remove accounts from your device.
1.
From Settings, tap Cloud and accounts > Accounts> [Accounttype].
2. Tap the account and then tap Remove account.
Backup and restore
You can configure your device to back up data to your personal accounts.
Google account
You can enable backup of your information to your Google account.

From Settings, tap Cloud and accounts > Backupand restore for options:
•
Back up my data: Enable back up of application data, Wi-Fi passwords, and
other settings to Google servers.
•
Backup account: Select a Google Account to be used as your backup account.
•
Automatic restore: Enable automatic restoration of settings from Google
servers.
External storage transfer
You can back up your data to an SDcard or USBstorage device, or restore backup data
using Smart Switch. For more information, see Transfer data from your old device on
page13.
