Turning Off the Projector
Press the ON/STAND-BYbutton on the top control or
ontheremotecontrol,andPower off? appearsonthe
screen.
Press the ON/STAND-BY button again to turn off the
projector.ThePOWERindicatorstartstoblinkred,and
thecoolingfanskeeprunning.(Youcanselectthelevel
offans’quietnessandspeed.See“Fan”on page 55.)
Atthistime,youcanunplugtheACpowercordevenif
thefansarestillrunning.

When the projector has cooled down enough, the
POWER indicator stops blinking and you can turn on
theprojector.
Note:
•WhentheOnstartfunctionissettoOn,theprojectorwill
beturnedonautomaticallybyconnectingtheACpower
cordtoanACoutlet(p.50).
•Therunningspeedofcoolingfansischangedaccording
tothetemperatureinsidetheprojector.
•Donotputtheprojectorinacasebeforetheprojectoris
cooledenough.
•IftheWARNINGindicatorblinksorlightsred,see
“WARNINGindicator”onpage58.
•WhilethePOWERindicatorisblinking,thelampisbeing
cooleddownandtheprojectorcannotbeturnedon.Wait
untilthePOWERindicatorstopsblinkingtoturnonthe
projectoragain.
•The fan rotation will terminate directly if theAC power
cord is unplugged immediately after the projector is
turnedoff.
•The projector can be turned on after the POWER
indicator turns red. The waiting time to restart will be
shortenedwhenthenormalpower-offprocessingforfan
cooling is completed, compared with the time theAC
power cord is immediately unplugged after the power-
off.
