Installing
the

pack
When
the
battery
pack
is
fully
charged,
the
approximate
available
operating
time
(the
camcorder
in
recording
mode),
at
normal
temperatures,
is
as
described
below.

operations

shorten
the
operating
time
indicated

It
is
therefore
recommended
to
have
available
charged
battery
packs
to
last

3
times
the
actual
planned
recording
duration.

When
the
battery
pack
is
used
for
the
first
time,
the
operating
time
will
be
slightly
shorter
than
normal.
It
should
be
used
until
completely
discharged
and
recharged
two
or
three
times
before
the
complete
charge
is
available.

Charging
the
battery
pack
is
possible
within
a
temperature
range
of
35°C.
For
best
results,
a
temperature
range
of
10°
30°C
is
recommended.
@
if
the
camcorder
is
not
used
for
a
long
period,
remove
the
battery
pack.
If
not,
the
battery
pack
will
slowly
loose
its
charge.
@
Do
not
store
a
battery
pack
where
it
could
reach
high
temperatures.
@
Battery
packs
last
shorter
when
used
in
low
temperatures.
The
supplied
battery
pack
has
not
been
charged,
make
sure
to
charge
it
before
using
it
on
the
camcorder
for
the
first
time.

Set
the
POWER
switch
to
“OFF”.

Align
the
marks
on
the
battery
pack
with
the
ones
on
the
camcorder
and
while
pressing
it
down,
slide
it
in
the
direction
of
the
arrow,
until
a
click
is
heard.
Removing
the
battery
pack
To
remove
the
battery
pack,
push
and
hold
down
the
BATT
button,
then
slide
the
battery
pack
in
the
opposite
direction
of
the
arrow.
