SETTING THE DATE AND TIME
Before setting the date and time, make sure the lithium
battery is installed.
Example: Setting the date and time to 2:10 P.M.,
December 24, 1995.

‘1 Set the POWER switch to “CAMERA”.

2 Press the ADJ button for about two seconds. The
: — reset time (0:00:00) and date (1. 1. 1994) are
? displayed flashing.

Press the DATE/TIME button until the desired day
(24) is set, then press the ADJ button.
When holding the DATE/TIME button to set the date
and time, the numbers will change rapidly. When the
desired setting approaches, release the button, then
press it repeatedly so that the desired number is not
missed.

t Notes:
@ The date and time are not displayed when the
POWER switch is set to “PLAYER”.
@ The date and time cannot be set while in recording
or playback mode.
@ |f “88:88” is displayed flashing, it indicates that the
lithium battery is exhausted. Replace it with a new
one, and reset the date and time.
@ The date and time need to be set only once.
However, they will need to be reset after the lithium
battery is replaced.
