MAJOR IC INFOMATIONS
● IC1203 (MM1630AQ)
This is a video switch with I2C BUS control, which can switch 4 Colour difference signal lines (component signal),
1 S video signal line and 4 composite signal lines.
Analog video signals sent from each input terminal and the tuner are fed to and selected by this IC. Video output
signals and component video signals sent from here are fed to the video processor circuit IC3300 (IXB405WJ).
● IC3300 (IXB405WJ)
This video processor consists of highly-integrated system-on-chip devices.
It is equipped with a high-accuracy 10-bit ADC of 108 MHz to perform high-accuracy data processing.
For the analog video processing, the high-performance multi-format 3D digital Y/C separation type video recorder
that supports NTSC is supported. For PAL and SECAM, a motion adaptive de-interlacing engine and video format
conversion engine are supported. 10-bit video signal processing is performed from the input to the video output.
● IC4601 (DS90CF386)
The DS90CF386 is an LVDS receiver for communication with the video processor on the front stage, which converts
4 pairs of LVDS data stream to 28-bit CMOS/TTL parallel data (24 bits of RGB and 4 bits of HSYNC, VSYNC, DE
and CNTL).
The output is a down edge strobe. This output signal is sent to the panel controller on the next stage.
● IC4502 (IXB326WJ)
This IC is a timing controller for the LCD panel with overdrive function driving a panel of 960 x 540.
● IC4503 (IXB029WJ)
This is a 64-Mbit SDRAM for the overdrive function of IC4502 (IXB326WJ).
Data is read into IC4502 (IXB326WJ) at start-up.
● IC4501 (IXB375WJ: 26”, IXB438WJ: 32”, IXB439WJ: 37”)
This is an EEPROM for storing LUT of IC4502 (IXB326WJ).
● IC2007 (IXB495WJ)
This is a CPLD (Complex Programmable Logic Device) with extension I/O for the main microprocessor and other
functions. This CPLD is operated with backup power since it operates in sync with IC2001 (IXB427WJ)
microprocessor.
● IC4602 (IXB445WJ)
This is a CPLD (Complex Programmable Logic Device) for generating timing signals for driving the LCD panel. This
CPLD operates with IC4502 (IXB326WJ), the timing controller for the LCD panel with overdrive function.
Note: If this CPLD is turned on with no power supplied to the panel, the panel may be damaged when any error
occurs.
● IC4101 (BD8133FV)
This is an IC for generating gradation reference voltage for the TFT LCD panel.
It incorporates a gradation output buffer amplifier 18 circuit, CMOS buffer amplifier and reference voltage generator.
The serial data control section consists of a register storing data from each terminal of LATCH, CLK and SDIN and
a DAC circuit which receives the output from that register and provides adjustment voltage to each section.
● IC2501 (MSP3453G)
This is an audio decoding IC.
It is designed to decode S-IF signals and select input audio data.
● IC2500 (NJU26901)
This is a delay IC for digital audio. It incorporates a memory that can delay the timing of the 2-channel audio signal
output to correct the timing of the image delayed by digital processing and audio.
