• When the target shifts in the axial direction caused by differential expansion, add the
amount of target shift to the ”D” value to consider so that the target surface is not
dislocated from the sensor.
• A circular projection or circular hole if used as a target may easily cause a pitch error
or measurement error due to shaft eccentricity, displacement in the axial direction,
etc. which are not appropriate for rotor speed detection.
• Install the sensor so that it is located at the center of the target width direction.
• A gear with uneven tooth gap can cause the monitor to malfunction. Therefore,
make sure to use a gear with even tooth gap.
