9-3-2 VERIFICATION OF OPERATION
(1) Trigger Mode selection
Set the Trigger Mode to Auto Trigger referring to "7-9 TRIGGER MODE SELECTION" on
page 52.
(2) Input of Reference Voltage
Make the input form the synthesizer a 2Vpk-pk amplitude sine wave voltage.
The offset voltage differs as follows depending on specifications.

VM-5S-1 -4.0VDC
VM-5S-2 2.5VDC
VM-5S-3 0.0VDC
VM-5S-4 2.5VDC
The input frequency must be below full-scale of the monitor range to ensure that SPEED
RELAY is not output.
(3) OK (input abnormal) alarm Reset
Input the reference voltage from the synthesizer.
Reset more than 15 sec. after input of the reference voltage to release OK (input abnormal
alarm) (in self-holding alarm reset mode).
In auto-reset mode, OK is reset automatically after approx. 15 sec.
(4) Verification of SPEED RELAY Operation
Gradually vary the input frequency from the synthesizer.
Verify that SPEED RELAY is output after elapse of the specified delay time when the input
value exceeds the SPEED RELAY set value. At the same time, verify operation by testing the
SPEED RELAY contact points for connection.
