Before and After Work
Switch off your pruning shears at the
controller, disconnect the connecting
cord and remove the battery:
– before leaving the power tool
unattended
– before transporting to and from the
work area and in vehicles
– before storing
N Open the zipper on the backpack.
N Open the quick release buckle on
the battery bag.
N Remove the battery.
Store your cordless pruning shears and
backpack in the case.
N Store the case indoors in a dry and
secure location – out of the reach of
children and other unauthorized
persons.
If the pruning shears are wet, allow them
to dry completely before storing.
If the backpack is wet, allow it to dry
completely with the zipper open before
storing.
Storing the Battery
N Remove the battery from the
backpack bag or charger.
N Store indoors in a dry and secure
location. Keep out of the reach of
children and other unauthorized
persons and protected from
contamination.
N Do not store spare batteries unused
– use in rotation.
To optimize the life of the battery, store
it at a state of charge of about 30%.
Storing the Charger
N Remove the battery.
N Disconnect the plug from the wall
outlet.
N Store the charger indoors in a dry
and secure location. Keep out of the
reach of children and other
unauthorized persons and
protected from contamination.
