The handle housing and engine
housing are connected by vibration
damping rubber buffers and a
spring.
Damaged rubber buffers (annular
buffers) and springs must be
replaced.
The rubber buffer is located
between handle housing and
engine housing to secure the
handle housing without transmitting
vibrations.
Remove the carburetor box cover,
b 14.1
Remove the sprocket cover and bar
and chain, b 5.1
: Remove the screw (arrow).

: Take out the screws (arrows).
– Remove the rubber buffer.

: Examine the rubber buffer and
replace it if necessary.
– Reassemble parts in reverse
order.
– Tightening torques, b 3.5
