General maintenance work
Cleaning the pressure washer
Keep cooling air openings and cylinder
fins on engine and high-pressure pump
clean so that cooling air can flow freely
in and out.
– Clean pressure washer with a damp
cloth. Do not clean your machine
with a pressure washer. The solid
jet of water may damage the
machine or its components
– Clean cooling air openings and
cylinder fins with a brush or soft
brush
Cleaning the high-pressure nozzle
A clogged high pressure nozzle can
cause excessive pressure to build in the
pump. Clean the high-pressure nozzle if
it becomes clogged.
N Remove the high-pressure nozzle
N Clean the high-pressure nozzle
from the front with a suitable needle
and rinse with water
Maintenance work on the high-pressure
pump

water inlet using a blunt tool, taking
care to avoid punching a hole in the
screen
N Clean the screen
N Re-insert the screen in the water
inlet and press evenly to ensure it is
properly seated
Lubricating the connections
Lubricate the following O-rings/gaskets
if necessary with a multipurpose grease:
– Gasket on screen in water inlet
– O-ring in coupling sleeve at outlet of
high-pressure connector
– O-ring in coupling sleeve on high-
pressure hose
– O-ring in coupling on spray lance
Checking the fill level of the oil in the
high-pressure pump
