15.4 Closing the engine hood
Close the engine hood (1) carefully and
slowly and allow to engage.
15.5 Removing the discharge chute
The discharge chute can be removed for
cleaning without the use of additional
tools. The engine cannot be started when
the discharge chute is removed.
The following points must be observed
before removal:
Stop the engine. (Ö 13.3)
Remove the ignition key and keep it in a
safe place.
Engage the parking brake. (Ö 8.14)
Remove the grass catcher box.
(Ö 13.10)
Unscrew the retaining nuts (1), remove the
discharge chute (2).
15.6 Installing the discharge chute
The following points must be observed
before installation:
Engage the parking brake. (Ö 8.14)
Remove the grass catcher box.
(Ö 13.10)
Select the lowest cutting level.
Push the discharge chute (1) in to the stop.
When pushing in, ensure that the
discharge chute fits over the discharge
opening of the mowing deck on all sides.
Screw in the retaining nuts (2) and tighten.
15.7 Fuel cock
The flow of fuel in the fuel line is enabled
or interrupted by opening or closing the
fuel cock.
The fuel cock is located on the left under
the fuel tank.
Stop the engine. (Ö 13.3)
Engage the parking brake. (Ö 8.14)
The "discharge chute removed"
symbol appears on the display on
the models RT 6112 C, RT 6112 ZL
and RT 6127 ZL when the ignition
key is turned to the "lights on" or
"ignition on" position. (Ö 10.5)
When cleaning the discharge chute
or each time it is removed, also
check the level sensor (grass
catcher box) and clean if
necessary.
Warning!
The discharge chute is one of the
protective covers. Do not operate
the ride-on mower with a damaged
discharge chute.
When installing the discharge
chute, make sure that the switch (3)
is actuated.
