Troubleshooting
Before starting any service work, operate the unit until it is no longer under pressure – if pressure is not released, chemical may
escape unexpectedly when working on the unit.
After servicing, carry out test run with clean water.
Condition Cause Remedy
Pumping action produces no pressure
Lever can be operated with little
resistance
Pump barrel damaged Install new pump barrel
Valve disks damaged Have valve disks replaced

Piston cup seal damaged Have piston cup seal replaced

Lever jammed or difficult to move
downwards
Piston cup seal not lubricated Lubricate piston cup seal with grease
Nozzle / filter plugged Clean nozzle / filter
Unit sprays only while pumping Pressure vessel full of liquid Pump until unit is completely empty
Repeat after no more than 5 refills
Nozzle does not spray – pressure in
container OK
Nozzle / filter plugged Clean nozzle / filter
Liquid drips from nozzle Nozzle / filter plugged Clean nozzle / filter
