ENGINE COOLANT
TEMPERATURE INDICATOR
“” 5
The coolant temperature is dis-
played by an LCD segment tem-
perature indicator 5 and coolant
temperature mark.
When the coolant temperature
exceeds 248°F (120°C), all five
LCD segments turn on and the
coolant temperature mark blinks.
If all five LCD segments for tem-
perature indication 5 turn on and
the coolant temperature mark
blinks, stop the engine, wait until
the engine is cooled, and check
the coolant level.
NOTICE
Riding the motorcycle with the
oil pressure indicator light lit
can damage the engine and
transmission.
If the oil pressure indicator
light comes on, indicating low
oil pressure, stop the engine
immediately. Check the oil level
and add oil if necessary. If
there is a proper amount of oil
and the light still does not go
out, have your authorized
Suzuki dealer or a qualified
mechanic inspect your motor-
cycle.
NOTICE
Riding the motorcycle with the
coolant temperature mark
blinking can cause serious
engine damage due to over-
heating.
If the coolant temperature mark
blinks, stop the engine to let it
cool. Do not run the engine
until the coolant temperature
mark turns off.
