INSTRUMENT PANEL
SPEEDOMETER 1
The speedometer indicates road
speed in mph or km/h.
If the meter needle does not point
to zero, follow the procedure
below to reset the meter.
1. Press and hold the ADJUST
button G and turn on the igni-
tion switch.
2. Hold the ADJUST button G for
4 seconds.
TURN SIGNAL INDICATOR
LIGHT “

When the turn signals are being
operated either to the right or to
the left, the indicator light will blink
intermittently.
NOTE: If a turn signal light is not
operating properly due to bulb fila-
ment or circuit failure, the indica-
tor will blink quickly to warn the
rider of the existence of a prob-
lem.
BRAKE LOCK INDICATOR
LIGHT 3
This light comes on when the
parking brake is applied and the
ignition switch is in the “ON” posi-
tion.
OIL PRESSURE INDICATOR
LIGHT “

This indicator comes on when the
engine oil pressure is below the
normal operating range. This light
should come on when the ignition
switch is “ON” and the engine is
not running. As soon as the
engine starts, this indicator light
should go out.
NOTICE
After starting the engine, open-
ing the throttle or running the
motorcycle with the oil pres-
sure indicator light turned on,
may adversely affect the
engine.
Make sure that the oil pressure
indicator light has turned off
before operating the throttle or
running the motorcycle.
