Remove the carbon deposits periodically
from the spark plug. Readjust the spark plug
gap to 0.6 – 0.7 mm by using a spark plug
gap thickness gauge.
Whenever removing the carbon deposits, be
sure to observe the operational color of the
spark plug’s porcelain tip. This color tells
you whether or not the standard spark plug
is suitable for your type of usage. A normal
operating spark plug should be very light
brown in color.

CAUTION
An improper spark plug may have an
incorrect fit or heat range for your
engine. This may cause severe engine
damage which will not be covered under
warranty.
Use one of the spark plugs listed or
equivalent. Consult your Suzuki dealer if
you are not sure which spark plug is cor-
rect for type of usage.
