Safety and use
We recommend that you read this chapter carefully before using your device. The manufacturer
disclaims any liability for damage, which may result as a consequence of improper use or use
contrary to the instrucons contained herein.
Trac safety
Given that studies show that using a device while driving a vehicle constutes a real risk,
drivers are requested to refrain from using their device when the vehicle is not parked.
When switched on, MOVETIME Family Watch emits electromagnec waves that can interfere
with the vehicle’s electronic systems such as ABS an-lock brakes or airbags. To ensure that
there is no problem:
- Do not place MOVETIME Family Watch on top of the dashboard or within an airbag
deployment area.
- Check with your car dealer or the car manufacturer to make sure that the dashboard is
adequately shielded from RF energy.
CONDITIONS OF USE
You are advised to switch o MOVETIME Family Watch from me to me to opmise its
performance.
Switch MOVETIME Family Watch o before boarding an aircra.
Switch MOVETIME Family Watch o when you are in health care facilies, except in
designated areas. As with many other types of equipment now in regular use, mobile devices
can interfere with other electrical or electronic devices, or equipment using radio frequency.
Switch MOVETIME Family Watch o when you are near gas or ammable liquids. Strictly
obey all signs and instrucons posted in a fuel depot, petrol staon, or chemical plant, or in
any potenally explosive atmosphere.
When MOVETIME Family Watch is switched on, it should be kept at least 15 cm from any
medical device such as a pacemaker, a hearing aid or insulin pump, etc.
Please note that MOVETIME Family Watch is a unibody device, the baery is not removable.
Do not aempt to disassemble MOVETIME Family Watch. If you disassemble your device
the warranty will not apply. Also disassembling the device may damage the baery, and may
cause leakage of substances that could create an allergic reacon.
Always handle your MOVETIME Family Watch with care and keep it in a clean and dust-free
place.
Do not allow MOVETIME Family Watch to be exposed to adverse weather or environmental
condions (moisture, humidity, rain, inltraon of liquids, dust, sea air, etc.). The manufacturer’s
recommended operang temperature range is -10°C to +45°C.
At over 55°C the legibility of the device’s display may be impaired, though this is temporary
and not serious.
Do not open, dismantle or aempt to repair your MOVETIME Family Watch yourself.
Do not drop, throw or bend your MOVETIME Family Watch.
