Giving Demos of MSO Features
MagniVu (MSO4000/MSO3000): MagniVu pro vides timing resolution down t o 60.6 ps (MSO4000)/121.2 ps (MSO3000) for
10,000 samples. The ma ximum MagniVu sample rate is 16.5 G S/s and the record length is 10,000 points cen tered on the
trigger. Th e main acqu isition has a sa m ple rate of 500 MS/s and a record length of up to 10M points. MagniVu is acquired
every acquisition. Yo u can switch between the Mag niVu record and the main re cord at any time, running or stopped.
Per c hannel thresho ld settings (MSO4000): The MSO4000 allows the user to set a unique logic thre shold for each channel.
This supports customer designs with multiple logic families, all on the same board.
Multiple buses: The MSO4000 monitors up to four serial or parallel buses simultaneously. The MSO2000/MSO3000 monitors
two buses simultaneously.
Setup/Hold bus triggering: The MSO models provide setup/hold time violation triggering across an entire parallel bus,
including any or a ll of the 16 digital channels and the 4 analog ones. You can trigger on all 20 analog and digital channels if
you use Aux In as the clock.
Parallel bus triggering: The MSO models add user-defined, logic triggering on a parallel bus. You can assign a ll of the 4
analog and 16 digital channels to define a logic pattern.
Deep memory: The MSO4000 provides 10 M record length on each of the analog and digital channels, standard on all models.
The M SO3000 provides 5 M record length on each channel. The MSO2000 provides 1 M record length on each channel.
Waveforms/second: The MSO4 000/MSO30 00 p rovides a 50, 000 waveform/second waveform capture rate on the analog
channels. The MSO2000 provides a 5,000 waveform capture rate. A higher rate means less dead time and more probability
of detec ting waveform anomalies.
