Measurement Description
Negative Duty
Cycle
The ratio of the negative pulse width to the signal period expressed as a perce ntage. The
duty cycle is measured on the first cycle in the waveform or gated region.
Positive Pulse
Width
The distance (time) between the mid reference (default 50%) amplitude points of a positive
pulse. The measurement is made on the first pulse in the waveform or gated region.
Negative Pulse
Width
The distance (time) between the mid reference (default 50%) amplitude points of a negative
pulse. The measurement is made on the first pulse in the waveform or gated region.
Burst Width
The duration of a burst (a series of transient events) and is m easured over th e entire
waveform or ga ted region.
Phase
The amount of time that one waveform leads or lags ano ther wa veform, expressed in degrees
where 360° makes up one wa veform cycle. See also Delay.
