3. Examine the zoomed view of the
waveform that appears on the larger,
lowerpartoft
he display. The upper part
of the display will show the position and
size of the zoomed part in the waveform,
within the co
ntext of the overall record.
Panning a waveform
While the
zoom feature is on, use the pan feature to quickly scroll through the waveform. To use pan:
1. Rotate the pan (outer) knob of
the pan-z
oom controls to pan the
waveform.
Turn the knob clockwise to pan
forward
. Turn it c ounterclockwise to
pan backward. The further you turn
the knob, the faster the zoom window
pans.
Playing and pausing a waveform
Use th
e play-pause feature to automatically pan through a waveform record. To use it:
1. Enable the play-pause mode by
pushing the play-pause button.
2. Adjust the play s peed by turning the
pan (
outer) knob further. The further
you turn it, the faster it goes.
