EC Declaration of Conformity – EMC
Meets intent of Directive 2004/108/EC for Electromagnetic Compatibility. Com
pliance was demonstrated to the following
specifications as listed in the Official Journal of the European Communities:

equivalents: 012-0991-01, 012-0991-02 or 012-0991-03 GPIB Cable; 012-1213-00 (or CA part number 0294-9) RS-232 Cable;
012-1214–00 Centronics Cable; or LCOM part number CTL3VGAMM-5 VGA Cable. Use an 012-0482-00 cable for the Ref Out connector.

The performance criterion for when the oscilloscope is subjected to the continuously present electromagnetic phenomenon:
MSO70000/C, DSA70000/C, DPO70000/C, and DPO7000: 10 mV/division to 1 V/division: ≤0.4 division waveform displacement
or ≤0.8 division increase in peak–to–peak noise. Performa
nce criterion for when the oscilloscope is subjected to transient
electromagnetic phenomenon: Temporary, self–recoverable degradation or loss of performance is allowed, but no change of actual
operating state or loss of stored data is allowed.
MSO5000 and DPO5000: ≤4.0 division w aveform displacement or ≤8.0 division increase in peak–to–peak noise. Performance
criterion for when the oscilloscope is subjected to transient electromagnetic phenomenon: Temporary, self–recoverabl e degradation
or loss of performance is allowed, but no change of actual operating state or loss of stored data is allowed.

Performance Criterion C applied at the 70%/25 cycle Voltage-Dip and the 0%/250 cycle Voltage-Interruption test levels (IEC
61000-4-11). If the instrument powers down upon a voltage dip or interruption it will take longer t han ten seconds to reboot.
