Troubleshooting the
Display
To troubleshoo
t a nonfunctional d isplay, follow these steps:
1. Remove the rear case. (See page 58, Rear Case.)
2. Remove the in t ernal assembly from the fron t case. (See page 61, Internal
Assembly.)
3. Remove the Display module. (See page 66, Display Module.)
4. Reseat the display cable to the Display module, making sure that the cable is
fully seated in the connector.
5. Reconnect the Display module to the internal assembly.
6. Reattach the front panel.
7. Reconnect the backlight and display cables to the Main board.
8. Power on
the oscilloscope. If the display still does not work, contact your
local Tektronix Customer Service Center for assistance.
