TekProbe Interface
Probes with the Tek Probe interface automatically communicate with the
oscilloscope to set the prob e type and atten uation factor. If you use a
probe w ithout the TekProbe interface, you can set these parameters in
the Vertical menu for the channel that t he probe is connected to.
Probe Guard
A guard aroun d the probe body provides a finger barrier for protection
from electric shock.

WARNING. To avoid e lectric shock when using the probe, keep fingers
behind the guard on the probe body.

hen using the probe, do n ot touch metallic
portions of the probe head while connected to a voltage source.
