Important Information
Please note that Behnke intercoms and accessories may only be installed and serviced by qualified
electricians, IT and telecommunications technicians who comply with the corresponding norms and
regulations.
Before carrying out service and maintenance work, please ensure that the devices are safely dis-
connected from the power grid (unplug power supply unit/POE injector) and are disconnected from
any other network and that all relevant safety regulations will be maintained.
Prolonged direct exposure to sunlight can cause the device to heat up considerably,especially for
devices with a dark front panel or when the device is installed in an insulated wall. In such a case,
the device must be cooled for a sufficiently long time before removal. Above all, be careful when
touching the electronics housing!
Please hand over this manual with the corresponding information about the intercom station to
your customer.
