4.3.3 Material damage
NOTICE
Danger of material damage
Incorrect use of the coffee machine or the wrong, faulty spare parts can result in
material damage.
u Check whether the coffee machine to be installed complies with the applicable
federal, national, or municipal plumbing codes.
u The coffee machine is designed only for indoor use.
u Clean the coffee machine before longer periods of non-use. Remove and empty
the grounds container, and disconnect the copy machine from the mains supply.
Remove, empty and clean milk container; store it with the lid open.
u Leave the refrigerator door open.
u Only operate the coffee machine at an ambient temperature of 16°C to 32°C.
u Set up the coffee machine on a flat, horizontal, stable and heat-resistant surface.
u Do not position the coffee machine where a water jet could be used for cleaning.
u Leave a free space of at least 50 mm in front of air vents.
u Always store the coffee machine a temperature above 0°C in a dust-free and dry
environment.
u The upper edge of the coffee machine must be at least 1.5 m above the floor.
u Only use original Thermoplan cleaning accessories.
u Never operate the coffee machine without drip grid.
u Do not store explosive substances such as aerosol cans with a flammable
propellant in the interior of the coffee machine.
